The "15th Anniversary of Huaqiang North Chamber of Commerce and 2020 New Year Gala of Huaqiang North Business Cluster" hosted by Huaqiang North Chamber of Commerce were successfully held on Dec 20, 2019 at Pavilion Hotel. 

The organizer invited Zhang Hairong - the Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Futian District, Member of the Party Group, Chairman of Futian Federation of Trade Unions; Wang Xiaoping - Secretary of the Party Group and Director General of Futian Industry and Information Technology Bureau; Chen Xiaozhong - Secretary of the Party Working Committee and director of the Office of Huaqiang North Sub-District.

Nearly three hundred people participated in the event, including the heads of Shenzhen Federation of Industry & Commerce, Futian General Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise Development Service Center of Futian District, Police Station of Huaqiang North, Market Supervision Administration of Huaqiang North, all members of Chamber of Commerce of Huaqiang North, various merchants, and owner's representatives.

During the Award Ceremony for Membership of Huaqiang North Chamber of Commerce, AWEI (Shenzhen Yale Electronics Co., Ltd.) was awarded the "Executive Member of the Council".

The organizer and the representatives of the members of Huaqiang North Chamber of Commerce said that the join of AWEI has increased the influence of the Chamber of Commerce significantly. At the same time, it is also expected that AWEI will fully utilize the resources of the Chamber of Commerce, seize development opportunities, Work hand in hand with the Chamber of Commerce, and the members to seek common development.

The "Executive Member of the Council" awarded by Huaqiang North Chamber of Commerce is not only the support and recognition of Huaqiang North Chamber of Commerce, all walks of life, customers and consumers to AWEI, but also a great encouragement for AWEI. AWEI will strongly support the work of the chamber of commerce, strictly abide by the rules of the chamber of commerce, actively participate in the activities of the chamber of commerce, and contribute to the construction and development of the chamber of commerce.

In Oct 2000, the merchants of Huaqiang North spontaneously formed the “Merchants Sodality of Huaqiang North, Shenzhen”, which was renamed as “Merchants Association of Huaqiang North, Shenzhen” in Jun 2002 and then developed into a more influential "Huaqiang North Chamber of Commerce" on Dec 3, 2004. Huaqiang North Chamber of Commerce is one of the earliest chamber of commerce of business cluster in China, which consists of more than 260 members currently.
